Revit wont make topography from points in AutoCAD file

I'm trying to create a topography from this point cloud and Revit wont play ball. Anyone know why?

I even have a points cloud txt file from the surveyor and when i try to use this to generate the topography i get the error "No points were found in the file."

You have to extract the AutoCAD points as CSV file and then you can import into Revit. See attached

Your point file translates into one weird looking Toposurface.

It’s a very rocky hillside. If you look at the autocad file you can see what it looks like. Those sharp pointy things are false readings that are generated from vegetation.

Whatever. I just saved your first three columns (x,y,z) to a CSV (Comma delimited)(*.csv) file and it translated fine in Revit.

FWIW @Seychellian: This is all your DWG is showing at my end:

...if I stare at it long enough, I do see a few Seychelles tropical palm trees.  😉

thanks, could you possibly send me that file? Or the topography itself?

Lol. I’ll send you the original when I’m back in the office so that you can see what sort of topographies we deal with here.

Not sure if you check the CSV file I've posted. All you have to do is take that and import and choose the file.
