I wish there were an instant messaging component to Revit, whereby team members could communicate about the model.  Also, it would be very useful if this instant messaging became part of the model data, so that it could be reviewed afterwards.

This does exist, but only if you are using Cooaboration for Revit.

The single greatest time saving wish list item that would be beneficial for MEP as well as Arch would be to allow View References within a note or schedule field.  There is nothing more annoying that having to search notes to verify that they have been changed when a detail or plan moved sheets or annotation.
