Not sure about the answer, but your reasoning seems logical.

The only obstacle I see is the license of the different add-ins. They might mention something about this.
To get more definitive answer I would advise to post your question in the Installation & Licensing forum.
If you have Autodesk subscriptions you also could create a support ticket in your Autodesk account.
