We have added a wood grain material to casework in revit. When it shows up in Lumion the direction of the wood is different (vertical vs horizontal). Why is this happening?

Hard to know what goes on. Are you using out of the box wood pattern or customized?

Can you upload or link me to the texture from the manufacturer? I like to test if I am getting the same issue in Lumion.

This is from Wilsonart, it is a laminate woodgrain.

I've test it out and there is no issue with the material. Perhaps upload the Revit file so we can take a look.

Sorry I cannot do that. I will verify with the Architect on how they are setting things up. Thanks for your help in trying to figure it out.

No problem. Ask them if they painted the surface instead of allowing the object to inherit the material. This may play into the material being oriented in the wrong direction. As well do the wood material have model hatch? Reason I ask is because you can manipulate the material orientation by rotating the model hatch.
