Revit Template - Guide Grid Default Name / Purge

I'm updating our standard office template and have run into an issue with guide grids. Our template has been modified several times over the past few years, and I noticed that when starting a new project and creating a new guide grid it's default name is "Guide Grid 4". I opened our template to see if there were other guide grids and I can't seem to find any. Testing this I created and deleted a few guide grids and then started a new project using that template. Now the default name is "Guide Grid 7"... There doesn't seem to be any way to get back to the default "Guide Grid 1" name.

This isn't a major issue but it is annoying to get calls from my co-workers asking why I have 6 guide grids hidden in the template - which is not the case of course. Does anyone know of a way to purge this past guide grid info from the template?

Thanks for the response Kparmar. I understand how to change the name of the guide grid. My question was about the default name that is used when you create a guide grid, delete it, and then create another. Revit seems to keep a record of how many were created and appends the name of the new grid with a sequential number - even if there are no other guide grids in the file.

So that leads to a situation where a user trying to create a new guide grid in a brand new project ends up with a default name of "Guide Grid 7" for example (using the template described above).

do this:

1. Open any sheet view

2. View-->Sheet Composition Guide Grid-->Now Choose Existing:  the guide grid 7-->press okay

3.now Select the guide Grid in sheet view.--> Delete It.

4. Result: Existing default is gone. now Create new and name it.

That's the correct solution for the guide grids. But I realized that I messed up and mistakenly said Guide Grids, when my issue is actually with Scope Boxes behaving in this way (no coffee yet today, sorry 😵). If you have any suggestions for how to fix that problem I'm all ears.
