Hey guys. I am having the hardest time creating a simple cased opening with trim. See images. What am I doing wrong? I duplicated a family from the default blank door opening, within that I went to creat-->sweep, pick path, green checkmark, edit profile, drew in profile, green checkmark, then I get an error.

Don't use pick 3D Edges, it doesn't like using the edges of the host element.

Go to an elevation and draw the path there and constrain it to the ref planes by aligning and locking. Create an arc and add a dimension for its radius with a parameter.

When you use the Pick Path, start with the Arch/Head forst so that the profile is hosted on that arc and not on the jamb. The sweep should then work fine
