This family is a Curtain Wall Panel. So i assume your placing a curtain wall with no mullions and and swopping out the Panel?

@jazzsharma200 the family you have created is a Curtain Wall Element (not sure the exact english term as i am more used to the German Revit Terminology). As you can see in the screenshot below I am able to place it without any issue. You will have to place a normal curtain wall from revit, place the posts and then the element in between can be swaped with your family. Video Attached.

You can model this in the Project with Curtain Walls or Beam Systems using your "I Stud" Profile for Mullions or Beams.

Curtain Wall example:

Beam System:

but it doesn't fill all the length.

This family you created is very inflexible when being used in the project.  Use curtain walls with mullions for stud framing.  If you model wall framing for a living than invest in some specialized add-in such as AGACAD.

Also, refrain from spending a whole day to make something that you are not sure how it will work, or if it will work.  For the future or course.

several of us have tried using this curtain panel family with success. This issue is either with your model or how its being used.

If this has not been resolved yet, please consider uploading a Model file (RVT) you are trying to use this family in.
