most of that I can't answer. I can can say it is a Mix of practical knowledge and theory.  you will need to know how tasks are done in Revit to answer the questions.  I believe it is around 50 question's. id suggest checking the required skill sets section of the link below.

The Autodesk Design Academi platform has more information and training that can clarify your doubts.

Are you asking what is the point of taking the test?  None if you don't pass it.  But if you do pass it, then you get a badge and bragging rights.  Whether or not that badge and boasting will advance your career is unknowable.  Can't hurt though. Could give you a leg up in a competitive job market.

thank you , for the information . in a previous post you had , said that the exam was now entirely procedural questions and there is no need to open the software at all. i wanted to clarify if it is true globally .

the old test was, in my opinion, all right out of the instruction manual questions. Autodesk has been revamping the test the past year or so though. the "new" tests are more real world questions created by professional's in the field. you will need to know how things are done, not just instruction manual examples. i was part of the group that rewrote the Mechanical exam. I think the Architectural one was done last year.

Hello there! On March 27 I'll take the Revit Professional exam, based on the new procedure ( just questions exam (no -Revit window-).

1) at the end of the exam, will I immediately receive the final result?

2) how many questions there are in the exam? I understand between 45 and 60, am I right? 120 minutes?

3) What is the minimum score to pass?

Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I attempted to register for the Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design exam but received the following message:
"You are ineligible to apply... You have an existing application (confirmed)."
However, I don’t recall completing or scheduling the exam.
Could you please help me resolve this and allow me to apply or view my existing registration?
