Revit Plumbing

I've used other products, but I'm new to Revit, specifically. So, forgive me if this is a simple transfer, as I'm not yet familiar.

I made a basic house layout in Revit, but when I began plumbing, the plumbing fixtures didn't transfer to the separate, linked plumbing layout. I have changed the "Phase Created" setting to see if it will transfer, but only the structure itself has stayed. They are labelled as plumbing fixtures, so it does understand what it is, but not that it needs to be on the new format.

I have looked for YouTube videos to explain how to transfer the fixtures, however, all of them either use outdated versions that are no longer comparable to the current version or have an automatic transfer, which has left me more lost.

I don't care much for the other fixtures to transfer, but I need to line up the plumbing properly. Does anyone know how to transfer the fixtures to the plumbing layout?

You mean you linked a project with fixtures in your project? 

you can copy/monitor. Or place your own fixtures on top of the linked fixtures (and then hide the linked fixtures).

Revit uses fixture unit calculations. You are better off to use your own families instead of re-suing the architect's fixtures.

What if the fixtures don't link with the rest of the project? They haven't showed up at all.

the linked fixtures aren't there.
