To set the ball rolling below are some common symptoms for PDF printing and associated articles with workarounds.

LARGE Text in PDF Prints (Forum threads and articles + solutions/workarounds)

1.All text (except dimensions) gets about 300% wider, but the spacing between letters is not increased...

2.Text print is huge in Revit LT 2019

3.Revit printing issues with large text scaling

Most of the issues I have encountered have come from the pdf softwares themselves. Believe it or not, the best pdf printing software i have ever used with Revit has been the free application "Cutepdf." I have yet to have 1 bad print over many years of printing in Revit. However the OCR additions and layering in programs such as Bluebeam and Nitro tend to move or offset text around and cause sizing issues.

We are very happy with the app Docuflow found in the Autodesk App Store to create PDFs. It is fast and very reliable - we have not come across with any text issues when using it with Revit versions 2015-2020.

Beware that the first build of Revit 2018 and 2019 came with a print bug, that was corrected in the next build. We were made aware of it as these first customer builds were not supported by Docuflow; Then we upgraded to the next Revit build. After the upgrade Docuflow gets the PDFs in a matter of seconds.

Someone just pinged me on Color fill patterns and printing- so here you go!

A few articles/threads FYI, and will add to the list: (please DM me if you find related and we'll add this to the list)

It works fine in terms of printing. However why in the F%&## do i have to tell revit that my default printer is NOT the epson printer and reset the paper size and all that BS? 

For a state of the art program to be so lame in simply printing to .pdf is inexcusable!
