Revit Model to Point Cloud

Most posts are about inserting point clouds data into Revit. My question is how can I export point clouds from a Revit model?

Print to a 3d printer or construct the building then 3d scan it.

There is a good reason why you don't export point clouds from Revit.

A point cloud is laser information when scanning a building.

If you think about it your Revit model is an infinite Point Cloud. There is no reason to make it less accurate. Or do you have one reason?

I think I'm also trying to figure this out as in trying to export a linked point cloud as we're able to with linked models to an NWC or DWG file. If exporting to the DWG, have the point cloud be exported as a reference if that makes any sense.
