@oliv420v

  • Try disabling the following two options

  • Check mouse sensitivity (if mouse driver allows)
  • If the above persists look into buying a new mouse

Check the mouse settings in windows and look if some are weird. Just write "mouse" in the Start bar.

I have the same problem and I tried all of the suggestions above, but nothing helps. Is there a solution?

This happens to me, on a daily basis. I'm not sure whether to say if its a graphics problem or not.

I have been doing the same solution as you, as its the only thing that works for me also at the moment.

If you select or scroll your mouse over a element, it acts like you have it still selected when you don't, even if you press ESC or click elsewhere.

The only solution I have for this is zooming in and out slightly. This should show as deselected after zooming.

Go to OPTIONS > GRAPHICS> uncheck "smooth lines with anti aliasing"

that seemed to work for me

Without any selection, go to Properties -> Graphics visualization options -> disable anti-aliasing

one of my co-workers just had this problem on a new lenovo p16s.

We simultaneously reinstalled Revit and changed the power mode in windows to High performance and the problem is gone.

i dont think the powermode had anything to do with it but just in case.

and it was in revit 2025
