Harlan I have to say that this ongoing issue is not an accepted solution;
you are forgetting that we are running businesses and transitioning from existing jobs is made very difficult when basic tools are removed
now I have started with LT 2025 I can see the incredible trouble that this has created. updating existing work efficiently is no longer possible and going through an existing job and making all these changes was never anticipated and quoted for in time for my clients. I have lost so much time working around these issues as a direct loss to my business.
Why is Revit making this so hard? I cannot use my existing topo surfaces and modify them and once I convert to topo solid pads do not work unless I leave the surface in place.
how can I modify my existing surfaces and work with existing pads and transition? put simply this was done poorly and has an impact on my work.
Building Pad needs to convert to a cutting element in a topo solid, simple as that; also LT needs massing for topo solids or we are being placed under hardship
I do not understand the resistance to this and I am surprised at the lack of understanding that many of your users are small businesses and affected terribly by this.
