Hi all,
Is there a way to hide automatically grids and levels of linked model in all the views?
In one model I might have e.g. 10 Links.

I generally don't want to see any scope box so the host file's category being turned off will also turn off those in links. I have working views (not on a sheet) where I leave them on.

I am participating in a project. Unfortunately we don't use worksets. So I use the VG Filter solution.
We use the same template. So Family and Family type names are the same. So I have to create a project parameter (eg: FileName...)to be able to assign separate values to the elements. However, I find this still not optimal. If there is a way to identify objects belonging to linked files, it would be better.

Just add an unique prefix to your grid and level type names and use that to create the filter "Not Include".

Wasn't this mentioned in the previous comments?
Still open each file and edit the name for each family type name. Instead of editing the name of a family type into separate ones (even though it is one) I assign a parameter to it.

No they are not the same. You only need the change the type names in YOUR model, not any of the links.
