Revit Link does not show transparency

Hello everyone!

I have 2 Revit files, one is the terrain with the streets, sidewalk and everything and other with the building.

I  brought the building to the terrain file by "Insert>Link Revit" and it worked everything ok, but there is a small problem:

The building have vitrage and the person who did the glass did by creating a curtain wall with transparency.

In the original file its is shown with transparency everything ok, but in the file where i linked this project this curtain wall is not shown with transparency.

How can i fix it?

You could try and override the Linked File Graphical Properties in that View

Go into Visibility Graphics (VG) > Revit Links > Display Settings

You could change it to the Linked Model View or Custom and edit Model Categories etc.

You could also try a Transfer Project Standard in the file with the Terrain.

  • Manager > Settings panel > Transfer Project Standard
  • Copy From set to the Arch model
  • Pick Check None
  • Select the Materials checkbox ONLY.

I think you should open the link and control the Filters, I see the another Model in your link that can hidden by user or filter.
you can also use "TAB" on the link to find the extra model and Hide it or make the filter for your views.
i don't think this problem deppended on the material.
