Revit files not opening in revit 2021

I did my laptop clean up just yesterday and deleted a lot of unnecessary files. Now I am finding that AutoCAD and Revit files which were downloaded during my online course cannot be opened. The AutoCAD files have turned into Blank document and revit files with an extension of YZ. I am new to Revit please help me out.

you need to download an extraction program like winrar or winzip and extract the files

I did install winzip and it worked to extract downloaded autocad files in revit but downloding revit file it is with extension of 7Z leads to a word document when downloading. PLEASE HELP.
