Hi Autodesk,

I have got a problem.
I attached Revit family file.
Now ,If I extend the length of the model, can it automatically come back to me in a hollow space?

Can you help this subject ? Could you please screencast video share to me ?

Warm Regards.

Not sure what you want exactly.

But it is definitely possible to modify the void depending on the length of the model.

If you want to repeat the void a certain amount of times you would need to constrain the void and create an array. Then you could use parameters with formulas to determine the amount of repetition needed

If you want to stretch/shrink the void depending on the length then you would constrain the the void to some reference planes/lines and use fixed distances or make use of parameters and formulas to determine how much it should grow/shrink.

In general you constrain your objects and make use of parameters if you want them to flex in a certain way

You should get yourself familiar with creating families. A good starting point would be the Autodesk documentation like HERE.

Other option would be to do some course (book, video course, classical).

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
