Revit Export to DWG & AIA Standards Issue

When exporting sheets from Revit to AutoCAD via the DWG exporter, using the default Revit AIA Layer Standards export file, layers do not match the AIA Standard Version 3 Layers that come out-of-the-box in AutoCAD Architecture. Obviously, it is essential that files originating in AutoCAD & files exported to AutoCAD have the same layers for plotting & providing files to clients. Are there any solutions that don't involve manually adjusting these layer settings?

Perplexed that this is even an issue, it does not make sense that Autodesk would provide inconsistent layer standards all-the-while referencing the same AIA Layer Standards.

AIA Layering is a guideline, a thought, a recipe.  Revit follows the guidelines for creating layers.  As far as I know, AIA doesn't provide linewights for objects or Colors for layers.  It provides a layer naming convention.

In my opinion, you will never get an Autocad file exported from Revit to match any exact standard for layer name and color without extra work after the export and a bunch of work before the export.  

I would expect the layer naming convention from ACA to follow the same rules as the layer naming provided in Revit, but I wouldn't expect it to match.  Just my 2 cents.
