Revit drawing walls problem

Hi 

I am trying to join three walls

Each wall has a thickness

I have a void in the wall

this is what i got:

How is the best way to remove the void?

What is wrong with it? Isn't it supposed to be that way when you actually build the walls?

Anyways, you can add an in place wall extrusion in the void and join geometry it with the 3 walls.
