Revit Design - Build Modeling - Primary used for construction / conflict/takes offs/ estimating

Does anyone operate 3D design-build models for construction. Looking to apply Revit for the following items listed below and would like to hear if this is being done. - Thanks!

 

-conflict Resolution between trades

-material estimating (structural and MEP)

-Project management / scheduling

-cost/quantities

-take off's, etc.

That's pretty much what we do with Revit.

I under stand Revit's capabilities, - I'm transitioning from Arch to Construction

- but never used Revit as a tool for financial formulas/ scheduling materials w/cost /project management (can it produce Gantt charts) - things of that nature.  Almost a mix of BIM modeler/accountant.

 

I see dynamo can be used to record component take offs that can go into excel files? - was wondering if these resources are available for training or pre purchase to plug into revit? 

Or is still up to user to build formulas for this to work. I know grasshopper you can save the scripts and so forth - looking if someone has experience with this. - Thanks!
