Revit create materials every time when I update dwg-link

Ladies and gentlemen, I need your help. The title says for itself. Those materails represent autocad layers and I don't need them in revit. Our costumer requires unused materials to be deleted. Thank you in advance!

More info needed.

Are you talking about the Layer Name or Material?  Or both?

Also, want do you do to "update" the Linked DWG - and, are you saying that every time you do "update", Revit creates new/additional instance properties for the Link?

Thank you! Solved! I simply created new material and assigned it to all imported objects.
