getting this error 'revit cannot create a local copy from the central file...there may be a network issue or another user may be synchronizing with central...."

no network issues and i'm the only one working on the project.

i've looked through the forum and found similar issues but i'm still having the problem.

any clues?

thank you.

You can try to create new central.

Open Revit--> Open-->CHoose Central file--> Check Audit and detached00--> after opening detached file save it over central and tick save as central in save as dialogue box options.

Try to create a new local copy from this newly created central.

What else have you tried?

Have you tried auditing the model?

Have you checked Windows permissions for the Folder(s)?

What version of Revit?

Is it fully up to date?

Are you on a network?

How do you know there are no issues with the network?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Can you copy the file to another location and open it?
