Revit-AutoCAD Hatch Pattern

I have the latest version of Revit software. I would like to export cross-sections from Revit to Autocad. However, when exporting, hundreds of "AutoCAD Hatch Pattern Definition (.pat)" files are created. They clutter my computer and slow down the process of exporting files to Autocad. How do I disable this option? How do I disable the ability to create these .PAT files, just the dwg file is enough for me?

These patterns are created temporarily by revit to display the pattern correctly in the dwg.

They normally are cleaned up by Revit after the dwg export is done.

I can see them during the export of dwg's but I have never seen them not cleaned up. Where is the dwg exported to, does it help when using a folder, looks like it's the desktop.

This is normal behavior and the files should be deleted automatically when the export is done. They have no effect on your computer unless your storage space is nearly full.
