Revit 2024 file size

Greetings.

I am preparing our project template and libraries for our company's upgrade to R2024 and I have noticed a sizeable increase in file size.  My R2023 project template is around 31mb but when I upgrade it to R2024 it inflates to over 35mb.  

I have purged what I can (want to), audited and compacted the file but the new file size is still 4mb larger.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you for pointing me to this article. 

I had already tried all these suggestions, with only minimal improvement.  The 2024 version of my template is still more than 10% larger than the 2023 version.  

Perhaps there is still something in R2024 that requires some 'love' from the ADesk programming team ... ?
