Revit 2022 on Parallels Desktop 16

I have a new MacBook Pro. I just installed Parallels Desktop 16 Standard Edition, then Windows 10 ARM-64, then Revit 2022. After Revit was fully installed, I opened it, but got an error message saying "An unrecoverable error has occurred..." I looked into it and it seems like the system requirements aren't met, even though they should be. What can I do to fix this?

It seems like this question has already been answered elsewhere, so nevermind.

Update:

Revit 2022 is running on my M1 Macbook with the latest Windows 10 ARM-64 update, build 21390.

A little bit slower than I am used to, but it is working.

How did you get that build? Latest version of Windows for ARM I've been able to find is 21354.

Windows Insider Program, it was a preview build. I was able to run Revit 2021 and Revit 2022 without any problem. I'm currently trying the Windows 11 preview which is also working without issue. I also realized that I only had 2vCPUs on Parallels, upped that to 4vCPUs.

So does Revit work well on parallel desktop Windows? Can you confirm this? I should rent a Mac 32 GB RAM for a few months, I would like to use the parallel for Revit (and Autocad). What does "I only had 2vCPUs on Parallels" mean? Thank you.

I have found that with the work that I do as an Architectural Draftsmen, Revit 2021 and 2022 work quite well. Correction on the vCPUs (virtual CPUs), I didn't change that, the Pro Edition of Parallels has 32 vCPUs standard. What I did change was the maximum number of the MacBook's CPUs that it could use.

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro with M1-chip. I just installed Windows through Parallels as told in their instructions. Now checking the "Updates" in Win 10 it says I have the build 21354.1-version. Revit is crashing with the same message as above, "An unrecoverable error...."

What to do next? Do I need to go through all this told above with Dev Channel or what? Can I install an earlier version of Revit just to get going meanwhile?

Thx for response!
