Revit 2021 License Manager "the license manager is not functioning or is improperly installed"

I have seen a bunch of different ways to resolve this and I've tried pretty much all of them.

When I try to use Revit 2021 and 2020 I am prompted to sign in to my Autodesk Account to verify my license, but I get the error message "the license manager is not functioning or is improperly installed. revit will shut down.

I've also downloaded and installed all the updates but the most recent update for the "Autodesk Licensing Service" keeps showing up even after it says installed.

I see. I was afraid it was coming to that. I have been considering all of the options I could take before that.

Have you tried posting your question in the Installation and Licensing forum? There are some people that are very familiar with this stuff over there.
