Why can I not load any families from the 2020 Revit Imperial Library?

I get this Notice:

Cannot Load Family Files

Some or all of the family files you selected cannot be loaded. You must choose family files of the category Component. Do you want to retry loading a new set of files?

Revit cannot load the following files:

Door-Garage-Flush_Panel.rfa.

If I try to reload, I only get the same response.

Thank you

More than likely you were in a command, then went to load family.  Make sure you are out of any command and go to the Insert Tab >> Load from Library Panel >> Load Family.  When you are not in a command you can load families of any category, if you are in a command you can only load families of that category type.

I promise U, I was not in another command in Revit. The Imperial Library
does not work. I was introduced to Revit back in 2010-13, huge gab, now
back at it. 58 years old and not giving up on being a part of good 3-D
Environmental Designing.
I basically designed a Bakery with the help of RevitCity.
I can bring in RevitCity.rfa, but I can't bring in Imperial.rfa.
Thank you for listening,

I can assure you that the library does work. If you can show us a screencast of you trying to load this or any other family, it might help to narrow down your problem.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I used the Insert tab to Load a vehicle from the Imperial Library into my project. Then I had to go to the Arch. tab to place the component. The vehicle showed up immediately and was easy to place in my project.

Then I went back to my original problem in not being able to load a garage from the Imperial Library. I used the Insert tab to Load the garage. Then I went to the Arch. tab to place the component. The garage was not there. I had to go into Project Browser, Families, Doors, and drag in the garage into the 3D view. It would not let me insert it on the Floor Plan or my Garage Floor Plan.

Although I was able to bring the garage in my 3D view, I have no control to rotate it as needed.

Thank you for your help.

More training in Revit pls.

Revit is not used for Drafting. Revit is used to Design Buildings for real life building. I cannot send you a screenshot at this time. I used RevitCity, and must complete this class assignment, with or without the Imperial Library. Thank you for taking the time to care.
