Hi there,
I modeled a door family and now am trying to set types of various dimensions.
I'm surprised and confused to see that the OOTB "Height" and "Width" parameters won't keep the evalues defined for each type. Ex: when I create a type with a specific width, all the other types are changed to that width.
I checked the parameters were typical and the tickbox of "by instance" in the ribbon was unchecked. I also tried to lock or not them in the family type panel, with not success.
Of course, a shared parameter would be a quick fix, but it doesn't feel right to use a workaround for such a basic thing. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something here, so good occasion for me to learn a new trick!
Family attached below (it's in french, but shouldn't be a problem for the geniuses out there!)
Thanks!
