So we see an update to revit. 2018.3

What happened to revit 2019????

Besides bugfixes we need improvements to the overall revit productivity.

2018.3 contains only bugfixes!!

New revit versions usually come out in the 2nd or 3rd week of April. Be patient and give it another week or two.

2018.3 does look like bug fixes on the surface, but its also a required update if users want to take advantage of the new rolled out BIM 360 Design (new version of C4R).
As for 2019, can't imagine it is too far away with other 2019 products already released.

Be nice just to see what is coming out with the next release.

I tend to wait for the first round of bugs to be squashed to roll out a new version of anything.

On a webinar today i heard that the 2019 Version will be released on 11. April 2018! - so - tomorrow... we will see... but i don't think the german version will be out as well...

Will have to have a read of the blog, was looking for information on new features this morning while I was installing.

If anyone's interested in looking at Revit 2019 I did a quick video this morning when I launched it for the first time if you want to see some of the new features?

So far my favourite new feature is the multiscreen support and view tabs. I have 3 screens so can finally make use of them all 🙂
