Revit 2019 wont open 50mb file

Hello everyone, I'm having a very serious problem with a particular project file I created a few weeks ago which is about 50mb in size. It's a Revit file created with Revit 2019 but it wont just open, it gets to about 3 percent and then stops moving. I tried other files of the same size and even the ones that are much lager and they all open except this one. The worst thing here is that its a finished project which I'm supposed to have sent to my client. The back unfortunately is gone which is a big mistake I made. I know the whole thing is messy but please help.

Thanks.

Ian

Hi thanks for the response, your solution worked and saved me from tons of trouble. I always see that audit button but never taken time to actually k ow what it does. From now onwards I will not take things for granted. But just out curiosity what really happened, why couldn't revit open the file all this while?

Thanks.

Regards,

Ian
