I have download the Revit 2019 trial and I'm getting familiar with it. My company is probably going to be switching to it. I am using Revit on a boot camped iMac Pro (2017). I have two external thunderbolt displays connected. the program runs very well on the machine but the problem I'm having is that the properties dialog box keeps disappearing. I've read all over the internet about different solutions and have tried them all. the only things that seems to work is repairing the Revit install. Then the properties box appears again and is fine for a while but then disappears again. any help would be great appreciated. I would like to get this solved before we purchase the software.
thanks

Hi @Xtremerc38
Welcome to the Autodesk community! I see that you are a new visitor! ![]()
Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the software.
As the first step, please confirm if you are on the latest build of Revit 2019
Next, can you confirm if your machine meets the system requirements for Revit 2019?
Check the certified hardware tools and see if your graphics card are updated with the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

- I do have the latest build, I verified with the desktop app.
- The computer does meet the requirements for running Revit.
- Graphics are updated to latest driver.
System Specs:
5K Display
10-Core 3.0GHz Intel Xeon W
Radeon Pro Vega 64 16GB
64GB Memory
One possibility is that Revit is not 5k compatible. So the properties window may still be there, just off the screen. Try dumbing down your resolution to a 4k level and see if that improves. I know that defeats the purpose of having a 5k monitor, but if you want to use Revit you have to make some sacrifices.

-It does happen when the external displays are connected.
-I have scaled DPI of the main display to 4k and will see how that performs
-The properties and project browser are undocked and moved to other monitors
-I'm using windows 10 Home 64bit
-I continue to update windows automatically
-The external displays are Thunderbolt 2
thanks
