Hi,
Is there anyway to export a Revit 2018 model to a version that is able to be opened in AutoCAD 2017?
Is there a hidden export version setting somewhere that I'm not finding?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Michele

When you export the DWG's click the properties button (...) and go to the General Tab and change the format to "Autocad 2013 Format"....as 2017 cannot open 2018 dwg's.

Thank you for answering my question,
"Is there a hidden export version setting somewhere that I'm not finding?"
I found the "Export to file format drop down" in a slightly different location:
File>Export>Options>Export Setups DWG/DXF>General Tab
I skipped a few steps since you obviously knew how to export to DWG....

I've been a member of this forum since 2006, and my current level and general habit of "lurking" rather than posting
If you post a second reply, with your same solution wording, but without this added text
"as 2017 cannot open 2018 dwg's"
I will gladly check "accept as solution".
thanks again for your help.

Yep...my method saves it in the settings. @Viveka_CD's has to be changed each time you save.
