REVIT 2019.2 IN VIEWR MODE

Hi I download Revit 2019 on Jan29, and it worked really well. Today, Feb 2, I open Revit and it said revit in 2019.2 is in viewer mode. I followed the link : https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

and did step 1,2,3,4. Restart my computer. And I also installed all revit updates, still not working.

Please help…….

Can anyone help me please ? I stuck with Revit 2019.2 for almost 4 hours....

Hello @eva .

 1. Check if you are trying to open the file through the correct program. Try to launch it from the menu. If this does not solve the problem, try removing the revit and installing it again.

2. May be you are using trial version? Look this topic.

Thank you so much. I open revit first, then open my file. It worked.

If I double click my .rvt file, then it will go to revit viewer mode.

It sounds you are opening the file through file explorer. This is not recommended. Opening it from within the program allows you to choose the correct options before actually opening the project. This is absolutely vital when it comes to workshared projects or if you have multiple versions of Revit on your computer.
