I'm way out of my league here, but I'm hoping someone can help me get started. As an educator, I recently downloaded the free version of Revit 2017. The whole purpose of doing so is to help my grandson start to get exposure to architectural software. While he's pretty sharp for his age, he's in middle school. He has said for some time now that he wants to become an architect.
I downloaded the software on a laptop I don't use in the hopes that he could start working with it and start to learn some fundamentals. Here's my snag. It doesn't seem appropriate to turn him loose on the internet, so I have disabled any ability for him to connect. I see that there are a large number of Revit training videos and had hoped to download a bunch of them and put them on the laptop so he could go through them without internet access.
I'm real big on software copyright issues and would not want to download anything illegally. I haven't found (yet) anything on the Revit site that indicates the ability to download instructional videos.
I'm looking for suggestions on how best to make some videos available to him without having to go online. I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on the subject.
Thanks for wading through this note. --dave
