I did the install from the internet, the content library was missing. I did some research online none of that worked. Decided to do a full uninstall on Revit and the Content Library, anything related to revit etc. Now when I go to reinstall Revit it shows that the Content Library is still installed. But every last trace of it is gone from my computer.
I am really disappointed with revit on this one, I have wasted an entire day and I am exactly where I was in the beginning. The support is terrible, there is no number to call. I had started a chat and they dropped me and then the service was unavailable. I am on a tight deadline and there is no help to be had.
You can download the library from following links. Note that it only includes metric library. I have tried it and it is complete.

@Anonymous hello, try to use autodesk unistall tool to uninstall. clear all your temp folder in c drive those cannot delete just skip. your window OS must have atleat SP1 updates and see if this help. thanks
If the Revit Content Libraries uninstall is not accessible via Add/Remove Programs or the Autodesk Uninstall Tool, you should be able to uninstall it using the following command string: MsiExec.exe /X{941030D0-1700-0410-0000-818BB38A95FC}
Once the Revit Content Libraries have been successfully remove, I recommend using the Download Now option (or Download Manager is accessing the Revit 2017 trial). This version of the Revit 2017 installer includes the US imperial and US metric content files, which eliminates the need to download these files during the installation.
My other suggestion is to expand the Revit Content Libraries product entry on the Configure Installation page and verified that the list of content packs is populated and that US imperial and US metric are selected. If there are no entries in the content pack list, this is an indication that the master.rvt.xml file is either missing or corrupt.
