REVIT 2015 link is grey-halftone

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello

My MEP link has turned gray, like half tone, but it isn't set to be.  I have tried to override the objects to black. I checked for filters. I checked the object styles. I checked for overrides. I check phases.

Any Ideas what might be happening here.  They changed over night.  Was there a Revit 2015 update that may have triggered this?  I have see several odd graphics issues lately; Mostly with windows.

Thanks for the help

Hi @Anonymous,

I assume you have checked here in VG.

Capture.PNG

is this appearing in all views?

Can you attach the files (or stripped down versions) so I can try to duplicate and resolve for you?

Accepted solution

John,

I finally found a hidden plan region that had the view depth way to low.  Once corrected everything looked fine.

Thanks for your offer to review my model.

Once I had also the same halftoned issue with linked projects.

Tried everything, finally found out, that in the linked model there was a model in-place (mass models? sorry, I don't have the english revit right now) throughout all the linked model.

Due to this, some elements in the linked model was halftoned (elements inside of this model in-place [mass model?]), but others — not halftoned.

So, I just switched off the visibility of model in-place (mass model?) category for the linked project.
