Revit 2014 - Syncing issues with Central

Hi all,

A few weeks ago, we began having an issue with Revit files synching with the Central file. File syncs that should take about a minute can take 15+, and that's if they can even complete. Making a small change (moving a wall) can take up to 30 seconds, when it should take less than one.

Everythign was working fine until about a month ago. This problem cropped up all of a sudden, and we can't seem to find a solution.

At the same time, there has been an issue access files on the network drives. We can't find a solution to that either. These are likely related, but we can't find any reason on why it's occuring. Network traffic looks normal, shares are correct, permissions are correct, etc.  There was an MS update around this time that has issues with server 2003, but we're on 2012 R2, and I uninstalled it just to be sure.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you.

The one and only time it happened here, it was because the network decreased to 100Mbps in some of the local machines. All the network settings were Ok to the whole office but these few PCs.

Thanks, I'll take a look.

Maybe the server reverted to 100Mb, which would cause the problem for the whole office.

Does anyone know the protocol Revit uses to sync files? I tried attaching a sniffer (WireShark) to the network, but couldn't find any packets.
