It depends on your computer configuration. It can take minutes to several hours..
The most important things are: CPU, RAM and graphic cards.
You can check the specifications suggested here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

why does my computer build have any affect on rendering time in the cloud? I a trying to learn more about Revit LT, where rendering is done in the cloud.
Sorry.
Those hardware's configurations are for the PC render. For rendering in the cloud, all you have to be sure is the internet connection is stable and fast.
ok. let's assume a reasonably adequate residential internet connection (comcast.) how long will a cloud render take to perform, of an exterior view of a new single family residence?
Rendering is something of a dark art. There is no direct calculation to estimate the time required. Even a similar model between different users may have different rendering times due to selection of materials, use of lighting, number of passes/quality settings, render engine, and even how busy the cloud server is at the time.
Most renders should be available same-day. With optimization for rendering it may only take an hour or two. That's assuming nothing else is holding up the queue.
