remove the dwg to use in another project

Hey,

there is this dwg file in the revit model.   I would like to use the dwg file in another project- is there a way that I can isolate and just use the dwg (situation map) of this model?

Thanks in advance!

Link it in another project? Why remove it from one project to use it in another. You can link DWG in how ever many RVTs you want.

Either you're not explaining what you want, or I'm not understanding you.

Do you mean the DWG link/import? If you have the original DWG file then you can link it to multiple Revit models.  If you don't have the original DWG file then create a view in Revit, turn off everything except the DWG import, export it to a DWG file, the link it in the other Revit model.

Another approach is link this Revit model directly to the other model, then set the view's link display to by linked view, and select the view that you created with only the DWG visible
