Remove "apply to all new views of this type" from existing view template

How do I access this dialog for an existing view template?  Whoever created our exterior elevations template checked this box and it is annoying.  I have searched the forum but can't find anything.  I would rather not have to duplicate the template, uncheck the box and reapply it to all the elevations.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

View tab=>Plan Views=>Floor Plan=>Edit Type. Set Template to NONE

Close enough to get me there!  It's actually Select the view / Properties window / Edit type.  Thanks.

Why settle for "close enough to get there."  I gave you the THE WAY to get there.  Thought that's what you wanted to know, but couldn't figure out.  The title of this thread is "Remove 'apply to all new views of this type' from existing view"

Since you bring it up and can't accept thanks, no you did not get me there.  Your solution was for a new plan view, not an existing elevation view as stated in my post.  The way I stated the solution is much easier.  Don't be so sensitive.

You may want to re-title this thread as well. Clearly, you're not talking about removing the default Template that is applied to new views, as your title indicates you are.   

But you're right. I am a little sensitive.

No, the title is exactly what I wanted to do and what I did. I selected an existing view and was able to remove the "apply template to new views".  The only difference is that it gets removed from the view type, not the view template.  I think both words would come up in anyone's search so I don't think it's important to rename the thread. Thanks again.

Okay, you're right and I'm wrong. You did say "exterior elevation" in the your body.  I feel better now. 

..If you don't mind, let me test my mind-reading skills on you.  I see in my mind an incident where you fell down and scratched your knee when you were four years old.  It made you cry.  Did that happen?
