Reloadable Wall Family Here

Hi guys,

Here I have a reloadable wall family from our consultants. But what I know is that one cannot create a family and set its category to be ceiling/wall/floor... How could it be achieved?

What I can do is just keeping the family and once I need to create one, just revise it. But I 'm really wondering how to create one, or how to set a family category to be Wall/Floor/Ceiling... Maybe I can create one in floor/ceiling category.

Could anyone tell me how to do it?

your attached file, the wall is made of extrusion so you cannot control  the height and width without it's parameter. you can  create wall by using revit wall default and modified it. thanks

Sorry, I didn't make my question correct. I just want to know whether there is a way to set a family category to be Wall?

I'm sorry. You can take a look at the enclosed family. It is in the category of Walls and when I create wall schedule in a model, the family will be included.

Yes you can create a loadable family under walls category by export a model in place wall from a project to a family.
