Reflected eciling plan-Staircase tread lines

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for guidance on how to display the tread lines of stairs in a ceiling plan. I’ve attached the default view of the stairs, but I’d like to enhance it to make the tread lines look more realistic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You!Stair.png

Unfortunately this is a limitation in Revit at present You would need to create a Plan Region for this and set the following;

View Tab > Create > Plan Views > Drop Down Arrow > Plan Region

Draw the Plan Region around the Stair > Select the Plan Region Plan > Properties Palette

Primary range:

- Top: at bottom of stairs

- Cut plane: below stairs

- Bottom: same as Cut plane

View Depth: above top of stair
