Hi everyone,
Plain Black Background screen issue on Revit startup. When I launched it this morning, the screen just stayed black, and Revit was stuck on the plain screen for at least a minute without doing anything. I tried force closing and relaunching a few times, but the same issue happened with both 2021 and 2022 versions. I eventually had to reboot the machine to get it working.
This has happened a few times over the years though not very often, maybe once or twice a year. Any ideas on what might be causing the black background screen on startup or how to prevent this?
I have seen the following suggestion a few time with solved responses with similar black screen issues.
Try the following
Restart Revit
