Reference Planes lose Line Pattern

Hi everyone.

For some time, in families, my Reference Planes lose Line Pattern from default to solid. Saving a family with new settings in Object Style does not help.

What could be the reason ?
I am using RVT LT

Did you change the object style of the pattern in the family editing mode or in the project?

Maybe try creating a new subcategory for the families reference planes... maybe they are overwritten somewhere in vg(/filter?). Tbh I'm not completely sure if I understood the question though.^^ Hope it helps anyway.

Are you opening the Family from the Project via Edit Family, or via File=>Open=>Family?

It does not matter. Reference planes do not print.

What are we talking about? Ref. Planes in family are different from what was last saved; right?

...yep; just re-read OP's first post. "my Reference Planes lose Line Pattern from default to solid."

Try this: Change Ref. Planes in Project to Solid. Group a family in the Project.  For example, group the OOTB Desk.  Now, TAB-Select Desk and open it via Edit Family. Ref. Planes are solid in Family; right?  Close family and reopen Desk via File =>Open=>Family.  Ref. Planes are dashed; right?

it's not a solution 😉
Working with family if U have RP at solid line style is frustrating.

I said that because you asked "does it matter?". Maybe I misunderstood your question. Can you share the family?

It's weird but true.
Tomorrow I will check what line style I have at the project.

I'll tell you how it works.
Thanks.

Yes indeed, in the project, in the object styles for RP I had Line Style solid. Changing the style to dashed solved the problem.
Thanks for the help.
