Recover Revit Project after Crash with no Recovery file

Revit just crashed after 2+ hrs of work which I didn't realize wasn't saved and it didn't give me the option to save a recovery file. I tried loading in the journal file and it says...

Does anyone know if there's anything I can do?

Maybe send the journal file to Autodesk via @Viveka_CD see if they can restore it.

Hi,

Thank you for taking your time to post this on the forum,

I suspect the reason why it isn't possibly to use the journal file is because the session is running over such a long time span and most likely contains other projects/sessions - as the Revit journals aren't project specific but Revit session specific.

If there is no backup file I think there's little chance of you recovering it, but you are more than welcome to send it to me if you like - and the latest file of cause.

Just send me a direct message with a download link,

Best Regards,

Thanks @ToanDN for alerting me on this thread.

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry to hear that Revit crashed after 2 hours of work.

Please send your file to @Jacob.westergaard  to troubleshoot.

Please check your hard disk space since low space you can run into spurious corruption messages. Although clearing the Temp directory doesn't clear the error, it is recommended to free disk space and allow Revit to be able to expand the project into the Temp directory.

Thanks @Jacob.westergaard for looking into this issue.

Regards,
