Realistic Visual Style Not Displaying

Hi,

I'm having a probably with the Realistic Visual Style not displaying. I'm running the trial version of Revit 2022. I have made sure that Use hardware acceleration (Direct3D) is on and that I'm running the most up to date driver version for my Radeon RX 560X Series video card.

This model was displaying fine in the trial version of Revit 2021, but after updating to 2022 it is not displaying in the Realistic Visual Style - everything else works fine from what I can tell. When I look up the supported hardware for Revit from the Autodesk website the supported hardware for Revit 2022 is not yet listed (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/certified-graphics-hardware). Unfortunately I can't access Revit 2021 anymore.

Is this a common problem and are there any ways that I can fix it?

Several users having the same issues. Hopefully Autodesk will release a hot fix.

Thank you for replying with the link! I am experiencing the same issue as that user.  I opened Revit using Run with Administrator and now it's working in every view again!

I was unable to see any geometry in Realistic mode except when I hovered over it and then only outlines would appear.  I saw a suggestion to open Revit using Run as Administrator, I tried that and now it's working - everything is now displaying in Realistic mode as it should.  Thank you very much for your response!

Same here. While troubleshooting the above issue in a project I upgraded from 2020, I caused everything in every 3D realistic view to disappear entirely. ARRGH! Happened to me 3 times in the past month. Inexplicably.  There's something going on in Revit 2022.  Others are reporting it as well.  Hoping a fix is on the way.
