Hi all,

I just have a question about the ramp visibility on reflected ceiling plan, looks like ramp is the same as railing that does not display on reflected ceiling plan?

thanks

A ramp will show in RCP if it is more than 3'-6" height based on a few tests.  If it is shorter, I have to turn on Underlay.

Hi ,

as the snap shot above, stair component and floor with slope (that we can use as ramp) display on RCP, and not the ramp. My question is why the ramp visibility is not the same as stair or floor ? if we turn on underlay, that is not good in the general arrangement RCP when the other items do not need to be shown underlay.

Because the Ramp tool is not well developed.  Many folks have given up on it and use sloped floor instead.  Example: Try to cast a shadow on or from a ramp on a plan view, it's all wrong.
