Railings

Hello All,
does anyone know of a way around creating Railings that work like in the Picture below. I currently have to make an In-Place family for each joint/transition.

What do you need to "work around"?  These are beautiful.

What about modeling a post that shape?

Thanks. I was just wondering if there was a way to not have to create in-place families for every Stairhall. This is just one out of 4.

How would creating a post look like ?

I'm talking about creating that notched post to be used in the Railing Pattern as a Start/End Post.  Get it?

Also, are you wanting to fill in these gaps?   I'm doing it here with Edit Rail.

No. The Gaps are meant to stay. Could you point me in a direction in how to create the start and end posts ?

Create the Post in a Baluster-Post.rft  (Template)  -- or open an existing Baluster Post in your Content Library, rename it and modify it.
