Railing Material Align

Hi great People, 

I have this issue with Railing. we created Skirting as a Railing profile with a material (with model pattern). we want to align this pattern to the floor tile but it does not allow align the railing material. Does anyone know a way to do that!

Try applying Material using the Paint Tool.

You can only adjust model patterns on layered system families (walls, floors, ceilings, etc.). Unfortunately they can't be adjusted on loadable families or railings.

Could you make the skirting as a wall sweep instead.

Alternatively, you could try adjusting the model pattern alignment in the material properties. This will require some trial and error. It may not work across multiple skirtings depending on the alignment of the floor tiles.

Use Wall Sweep.  

Or, if you model the finish floor within each room then you can even use Slab Edge.

Why can't you do it the other way around. Align the Floor Pattern to the Rail Pattern?  The difference looks so minute. What are we talking about? A couple of inches in the real word?  Is it that critical? If so, you better include the grout too.
