Vault family need to be cut on floor slab... no cut...

Hi I'm Giovanni and I need to subtract from the floor slab the family vault created. The family has the parameter cut with voids on and is hosted on the intrados of the slab floor. Any Ideas?

Thank you.

I managed to cut the category floor from the vault but there are still linked : the vault has the floor slab as a host.

How can i unlink that and delete the vault family to have a ceiling vaulted...

Thank you

Gm

Is this what you are looking for? Just change the solid into a void and extrude the middle void up instead of down.

Yes it has to be like how you made...I would like to do that with family cause it useful for me...

Should i re model the family as a void form the beginning or there s a command to the change the family solid vault into a family vault void?

Thank you for the contribution,

From Family Edit you can make it cut when loaded or placed

Yes, just select the solid sweep you made and change it into void in the properties.

Something like this:

Your centre void is extruded in the wrong direction so it's not cutting the ceiling, simply delete the parameter on it, drag it up, then put the parameter back on it.

The sweep was already set on void so i don t think that could be the problem.
